'Mentally, we've discussed more aggressiveness from all of us,' Nagy explained. 'Mahomes has excelled in this aspect, and the next step is the mental side of checking down when needed. He demonstrated this last week with three successful checks down, showcasing his growth as a quarterback.'
Despite the challenges, Nagy remains confident in Mahomes' leadership and competitiveness. He described Mahomes as the most competitive individual he has ever encountered, always ready to lead the team to victory, as evidenced by the game-winning touchdown he threw in the previous match.
'He's always the most competitive human being I've ever been around,' Nagy said. 'Mahomes' mindset is a strength for the team and the offense. We're looking forward to the upcoming weekend, knowing he will be a key leader.'

After consecutive weeks of surpassing 100 rushing yards, Nagy emphasized the team's commitment to building on their success under center while maintaining balance with their RPO game. He acknowledged the importance of adapting to different schemes, such as dot runs and under-center plays, to maximize their offensive capabilities.
However, the recurring issue of penalties continues to plague the Chiefs. Despite their ability to move the ball, self-inflicted mistakes have consistently halted their drives. Nagy acknowledged the team's performance without penalties, stating that they are 'pretty good' in such situations. He urged the team to focus on minimizing penalties, especially those that are within their control.
